Out of the package look and feel, ease of set up and initial photographs were all excellent. My first impression in all areas was very good.
However, I am updating my review and dropping from 5 to 4 stars for a few reasons.
    1. A con/ inconvenience is that there is no switch to turn off the lights; the light box must be unplugged or collapsed to turn off the lighting. Not a huge deal if your outlet is accessible, but still less convenient then just flipping a little switch.
    2. There are lights at the top center and top left but not the top right; slight shadow is cast becasue it isn’t perfectly even.
    3. There is a crease in the white backdrop that shows up in the pictures. it can be edited out, very easily depending on the app or software you use; still, it is there.
    Notes:
The electric cord initiates at the top of the lightbox, but it is long enough to plug in a wall outlet at the standard height, even when the light box is set up on a table.
There are three flaps in the front that are held open or shut with magnets, making it very convenient to position your camera at different heights. The opening at the top is good; it would be better if there was a magnet or Velcro to hold that flap open; I just folded it back to use the top opening.
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Good value; love that it’s portable and easily stored. I purcahsed the item for home/ light business use and am keeping it.

Works great. Very easy to set up. Great pics! Didn’t even need to tweak them in Photoshop at all.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What’s this?)
The Portable Photo Studio is a relatively heavy collapsing box with LED lights and white backdrop built in. You pop it up, and you can take pictures of objects with soft lighting and no background.

It’s about the size of an artist’s portfolio but less wide. However, it’s plenty heavy–fifteen pounds. It operates on AC power, so you have to plug it in. The cord has its own pocket for storage. Very tidy.

You don’t have control on the color of the light: it’s daylight balanced color and it’s diffused–no spot. There is a port on top for a top camera shot–but you might be able to use it also for lighting.

There is a door to shoot through, meaning you can close the box and have all six sides inside reflecting white light back on your object for shadowless photography. A port lets you peek in with your camera lens to take your photo. The port can be low, side, high, in other words, you have various camera angles even when the “garage door” is closed to allow for maximum reflected light and minimum shadows.

You don’t have control on the color of the light: it’s daylight balanced color and it’s diffused–no spot. There is a port on top for a top camera shot–but you might be able to use it also for lighting.

There is one flaw in this design; the “sweep”–the seamless background folds up when stored inside the unit. It’s used in the usual position of a sweep–that is, hung from the top and draping down with a curve where it bends onto the floor. At the bend point, there is a noticeable crease from being folded in storage. It did not come out and as it looks like plasticized fabric, don’t think it can easily be ironed. The second photo in the review shows the crease marring the seamless background. While a steady hand with Photoshop can eliminate this, it’s the whole point of a seamless background to be…seamless. One star off for this crease as it made shadows and it’s defeating the purpose.

In total, however, this is a handy portable photo tent and it works well.
